Summer Time

One of the girls I nanny had her fifth birthday party today! I was able to snap some pictures of all the kids having a great time. Happy Birthday, Lilia!

Kaylee is One Year Old

Parents Scott and Shauna couldn't be more proud of their one year old Princess, and asked me to photograph a celebration of twelve months in the world. Happy Birthday, Kaylee!

Terri & the Girls

There is nothing like a photo shoot with a couple of little girls who are used to the camera. Terri and her two gorgeous daughters posed for a "Just because" shoot. The results are quite a few portrait style pictures of the two budding beauties.

The Harris Family

This lovely family was a part of a larger shoot I did around Christmas last year. It was fun getting to know the family a little better. With two boys this young, Todd and Katelyn are on their toes. This shoot was full of toddler energy.

Just Because

I love looking at the world through my lens, and I do it often. While scrolling through my photo blog the other day, I realized I don't have many of these "In the meantime" pictures. Want to see what I'm shooting when babies, families and lovey couples aren't around?

Michael and Jenn

I'm so excited and happy to share this photo session. Jenn is one of my closest and dearest friends, and I was thrilled when she asked me to do her engagement photos. (I can't do the wedding, I'm maid of honor!) Jenn and Michael fit together so amazingly well. Their's is a relationship that makes a person believe in things like destiny and fate. They've been down an interesting road to find themselves where they stand today, but the result of such a journey is a true love story. This is the beginning of something amazing. Congratulations, guys! I love you so very much!

Monday Afternoon

I took the kids I nanny to a park this afternoon and was able to snap a few photos before Henri got his very first black eye by some unruly playground equipment. Henri (The oldest) is bit of a ham and is always willing to pose for the sake of a good picture. With Lilia (the middle), on the other hand, I have to stalk around the playground waiting for a sideways glance toward the lens to get any sort of picture at all. She's getting quite good at detecting my camera's presence and thus is getting harder and harder to photograph. Bella (the youngest) doesn't seem to notice I have a camera at all. I've been lucky enough to spend almost two years getting to know these guys, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do:
